As a follow up to our last bizarre loot item, I took a screenshot recently of some more bizarre loot Zonda recently bagged as pictured above.

Someone at SOE needs to do a second pass of the re-itemisation that took place in Game Update 61 a few weeks ago and fine tune things - and not just rely on their player base reporting stuff. Whilst for the most part, the vast majority of the approximate 50,000 different items that were 'automagically' re-itemised are ok, there is a good percentage of gear that has inapproriate stats for their respective classes or is just plain bizarre. I hope they can attend to all these issues sooner rather than later because its making a quality game look a little bit rough and shoddy round the edges in my opinion.

Whilst checking the guild events log recently, I stumbled upon the above item looted by Piithagorean (aka Turthrot).

A startling example of the mess that is the reitemisation of GU61, this item doesn't even have a proper name, and is still tagged with its backend ID - the imaginatively titled... '050_09_mage_symbol_4'. Shoddy, but when you think of the sheer volumes involved in the re-itemisation process (there are something like 50,000 pieces of armor, weapons, and jewelery etc. that have all been re-itemised) then it's understandable some are bound to slip through the net. More bizarre loot coming soon - there is plenty more!

Pictured above is a rare occurence in the Temple of Solusek Ro in Lavastorm.

Thoreandan is in Void Stalker mode performing the daily solo Void Shard mission (something that is super quick to do at level 90 in DoV gear btw - the whole episode including zoning can be done in about 3 to 5 minutes!) and one of the twelve Void-Touched Infiltrator mobs required for this daily mission dropped an exquisite chest for me, much to the surprise of a passer-by as well as myself, as these mobs don't usually drop anything at all, not even body drops - unless there are gremlins in the system. Even more unusual was that the loot was a level 50 something master spell - odd when you consider Thoreandan is level 90 and obviously wasn't mentored down or anything which wouldn't work for this anyway. It's not a unique occurence, actually this is the second time its happened to me, and I've heard others have had similar experiences over the last two or three years, nonetheless possibly a case for Mulder and Scully methinks!
