Got stuck in one of your house designs? Shocked

Just type /house and it will allow you to leave the house and come back!

Great way to get unstuck and not damage the design! Razz

Guild Hall P&P (Policies & Procedures)...

Read more about the policies and procedures and any 'do's and don'ts' in relation to our Antonica based Guild Hall...

Stormsurge Guild Hall courtyard

Our Guild Hall P&P (Policies and Procedures) page details the various policies, procedures and 'do's and don'ts' in relation to our Guild Hall based off the south west coast of Antonica. As a Stormsurge member please be sure to familiarize yourself with the information detailed here in order to help maintain the Guild Hall and ensure it functions as smoothly as possible.

On a sidenote, you might also like to know that we're currently in the midst of putting together an in-depth 'Guided Tour of the Guild Hall' page which should be ready in the future - we'll publish more news of that very soon!

Amenity usage

All amenities, with the exception of the Guild Bank (visit our Guild Bank Policies & Procedures page for further information on the Guild Bank) will be available to any member of recruit status or above.

Call of Guild Hall amenity

Stormsurge Call of Guild Hall amenity

We have a "Call to Guild Hall" amenity placed right inside the entrance to the Guild Hall. This should be one of the very first things you should ensure you attend to after becoming a Stormsurge guild member, so don't forget to pick it up after you are tagged!

The Call of Guild Hall amenity can be found immediately to the right as you zone into the Guild Hall via the front gates. Its a rather ornate sculptured object that has a spherical like object sitting at its peak.

Clicking this amenity will place the 'Call of Guild Hall' spell on your hotbar, which has a 15 minute recast time allowing you to conveniently return straight back to our Guild Hall once every fifteen minutes.

If you were previously in a guild and already had a Call of Guild Hall spell, you will now be bound to the Stormsurge Guild Hall, with your existing Call of Guild Hall spell.

Guild Hall rent

You'll be pleased to know that unlike some guilds in Norrath, there is neither a usage fee for the Guild Hall or any membership 'dues'. Rent, paid for both via status and "cash", is paid through donations and funds gained from the weekly raffle that the guild holds. Should rent funds get low, we may solicit donations to boost them once again, but any contributions will be strictly voluntary. We promise, there will be no collection agents (or trolls) knocking on your door in the middle of the night!

Trustee Access

Trustee access is granted on a temporary basis to a member should they want to donate a house item / guild item for placement in the Guild Hall. If a member is given Trustee Access for this purpose, then please be aware that our decorators have gone to a lot of trouble to make the Guild Hall a source of pride, so please be sure to just place your donated item without moving any others. Thank you!

Guild Hall Decorators

We realise many of our members enjoy decorating. We have several "guild hall decorators" on the Stormsurge staff and additionally, we also have many talented decorators amongst our membership even including an Award Winning decorator! However, we will always welcome new ideas where the Guild Hall is concerned. If you have a suggestion for decorating, please feel free to pass it on to an officer. They will make sure that it lands in the right hands... or paws! And whilst we can't necessarily promise that we can implement your ideas or suggestions, we will certainly give them their due consideration.

The Harvest Depot

The Stormsurge Harvest Supply Depot amenity

The Harvest Depot is a Guild Hall amenity that allows the storage of vast quantities of tradeskill materials (to be precise it can hold 200 different item types with a whopping 20,000 units of each of those different items). Below we detail policies and procedures specifically in relation to the Harvest Depot...

  • If you are in the tradeskill area please take a moment to stop and check the bots (these are the three NPC amenities in the tradeskill area that can be ordered to go out and harvest for supplies for our Harvest Depot). If they are back with harvests, then please empty their bags, place the items in the Harvest Depot, and be sure to send them out again! We've found that if we let them stand around, they get into all sorts of trouble. If they are showing the /tapfoot character animation then the NPC's are presently at work harvesting.

  • There is a mixture of items in the depot, including harvested items, harvested rares, and transmuted powders, potions and shards. Please feel free to use any item available in the harvest depot with this caveat: If you create a mastercrafted item from a rare/mana in the depot, then it should not be with the intent to sell or broker it for your own personal gain.

  • Overflows from the Harvest Depot (i.e. when the Harvest Depot holds 20,000 units of a specific item then it can hold no more of that item) can be sold, trashed or stashed in your bank or depot. Please do not stash 'em in the guild bank. They get moldy when stashed there!

  • While members have the ability to USE items from the depot at the various tradeskill tables, only trustees have the ability to directly REMOVE items. This means that if you put something in the depot that is only used for quests, like most of the DoV harvests for example, then they will be held captive until a trustee comes along to free them.

'Did you know...?'
Tinkerers can commission craft a Personal Harvest Depot for placement in your personal house? Whilst the Personal Harvest Depot is slightly different from the Guild Hall Harvest Depot in respect of the fact that it is limited to 100 different items (as opposed to 200 different items) that each hold a stack of 20,000 units, it is still an immensely useful item, and we highly recommend either getting a guild tinkerer to commission craft you one should you be a serious tradeskiller, or why not become proficient in the art of tinkering yourself and make one.

We find they are especially useful for keeping your rares supply safe in, and all the various live event tradeskill materials to be had, such as those for the likes of Bristlebane Day and Brells Brew Day, and of course not forgetting Frostfell! For more information read about the Personal Harvest Depot on EQ2 Wiki, or ask a Guild Officer about them. There are several fully-fledged Tinkerers in the guild who will be only too happy to commission craft one for you - but you will of course need to provide the necessary rare materials.
